Invisible Man
Ever felt eyes on your back
That belonged to no one?
Or glimpsed a fleeting shadow
From the corner of the eye?
It is I,
The invisible man
Heard that voice calling you
But could find no owner?
Or felt a touch from something
That strangely was not there?
It is I,
The invisible man.
Always present but not there,
An existence unfelt.
Never hidden yet unseen,
One word, invisible.
Do you see me now?
Or don't you?

Chocolate
Some are dark, some are light,
Some are big, some are small.
But milk choc's the delight,
I love most of them all.
Inside soft and heavenly,
Outside smooth and creamy.
Just like one I love dearly,
Who else but my auntie!
A nibble is all it takes,
For them to brighten your day;
Oh the wonders they create,
The way they make things okay.
There is too much to say,
I'd rather not write, but sing
A song to best convey:
'They're one of my favourite things!'

Prison
Banging on my invisible barrier,
Screaming with all my might.
Yet they carry on their chatter,
Oblivious to my plight.
Deafeaning is the silence around me,
Frustration at being ignored.
Trapped by walls I can't break free,
Sealed by people I once adored.
Hidden from view of busy lives,
Smaller than a grain of sand.
Awaiting a saviour from the skies,
To break this prison to another land.

Breezing through the Elysium Fields and down the River of Lethe. Stop by at Styx, flirt with Erebus, and tease the Old Man Charon. Give Cerberus a scratch, play some three-headed catch, and away to see the king. Silent as ever, that's Hades my friend, and fair Persephone beside. Paying my respects, a swift bow, and off again to wander. A quick pass at the judges, and Tartarus to taunt the dead. Tired at last, back to Elysium, and a toast with heroes of long past.
