Teach
I used to try to teach,
Naive then, I was a kid,
But now I know much better.
Tell a man what he sees not
Will just get you a retort,
Leaving him, the idiot, no wiser.
I've learnt to keep silent,
To let it be, they say,
The words of wisdom.
Why bother, it's not worth,
He'll learn it another way.
Harsher for sure, but that's his freedom
Fool at first,
But in the end,
It's them I'll send laughter

Orals
sitting down, i'm waiting.
fingers crossed, i'm praying.
outside collected, a cool exterior,
inside me i'm shaking with fear.
standing up, it's time to read,
walking becomes a great task indeed.
approaching them, voice a' trembling,
never thought of strangers so threatening.
questions asked, mind is racing,
answers to give, hopefully amusing.
fiddling the paper, full of apprehension,
looking for sumthing to ease the tension.
over at last, rushing out,
i'm dead for sure without a doubt.
a sigh of relief, no more worrying,
hands in pocket, i'm whistling.

Angel Mortal #2
Angel:
Silence fills a golden room
As sunlight pours though the window.
Open eyes and open heart
Lost now, replaced with a heart of stone.
Time stolen, truths unfair
Couples die in vain.
As a crying heart bleeds
From heartache's bitter pain.
Peers betrayed, a life of sin
Backstabbers slyly await.
A solace never ever found
So are the lies of mighty fate
Mortal:
Silence fills an empty night
As darkness embraces the earth
Up above the stars shine bright
My heart fills up with love
Pain becomes a gentle throb
As wounds begin to close
I know for me someone sobs
A friend unseen, a hidden rose
The stars look down kindly
And brighten up my way
All troubles i'll face bravely
For hurt heals at nite, not day
And here's a thought if i may say
Fate hinders not, but everywhere solace lays.

Breezing through the Elysium Fields and down the River of Lethe. Stop by at Styx, flirt with Erebus, and tease the Old Man Charon. Give Cerberus a scratch, play some three-headed catch, and away to see the king. Silent as ever, that's Hades my friend, and fair Persephone beside. Paying my respects, a swift bow, and off again to wander. A quick pass at the judges, and Tartarus to taunt the dead. Tired at last, back to Elysium, and a toast with heroes of long past.
