Hero's Farewell
We leave soon, my heroes
Our time has come.
The young has risen
To take our place.
We head off, my heroes
To elysium fields.
Days of glory past,
Peaceful days at last.
And pledge now, my heroes
Drink not from Lethe.
That upon rebirth
We shall meet again.
The battles fought may have passed,
But the legend lives on forever...

like cattle we are
classified into different grades:
Band 1
Band 2
Band 3
this one for slaughter
this one for breeding
this one... throw to the dogs!
i was once an A-grade bovine
grown fat and lazy
now discarded, out of use
09:36 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2003You and you
You greet me with so much zest,
so much life.
I grunt blankly, devoid of life.
I greet you with all I can
muster of life.
You glance briefly, reply lifeless.
You and you,
I disappoint you, you discourage me.
You are so warm, I am so cold.
Or was it the other way round?
You and you,
If only you were you, and you were you.
We'd be so warm, we'd be so cold.
And hopefully no other way round.

Breezing through the Elysium Fields and down the River of Lethe. Stop by at Styx, flirt with Erebus, and tease the Old Man Charon. Give Cerberus a scratch, play some three-headed catch, and away to see the king. Silent as ever, that's Hades my friend, and fair Persephone beside. Paying my respects, a swift bow, and off again to wander. A quick pass at the judges, and Tartarus to taunt the dead. Tired at last, back to Elysium, and a toast with heroes of long past.
