I always thought
the sun was but a blazing
ball of fire

till one day it sprouted
four limbs

a soft gentle hue of calm
a sea of vast expanse
a picture of the night sky
a shadow of my soul
a reflection in the pool
a tear drop of emotions
a ripple
a raging storm of chaos
a drizzle of rain
a cool night breeze
a silence
But what it truly is, who knows?

Streaks of white across the sky
Lines of faith intertwined in darkness
A shooting star chasing dreams?

Soft glowing dot of pulsing white

Breezing through the Elysium Fields and down the River of Lethe. Stop by at Styx, flirt with Erebus, and tease the Old Man Charon. Give Cerberus a scratch, play some three-headed catch, and away to see the king. Silent as ever, that's Hades my friend, and fair Persephone beside. Paying my respects, a swift bow, and off again to wander. A quick pass at the judges, and Tartarus to taunt the dead. Tired at last, back to Elysium, and a toast with heroes of long past.
